Sexual Harassment
Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute is deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students, faculty, and staff. The institution regularly organizes awareness programs, seminars, and special lectures on critical issues such as prevention of sexual harassment, gender equality, women empowerment, and safety of women and children.
Objectives of Sexual Harassment
- To prevent sexual harassment — By requiring employers to create policies, conduct awareness programs, and take proactive steps to stop unwelcome sexual behavior before it occurs.
- To promote a safe work environment — Encouraging sensitization, education, and a culture of respect across all workplaces, including organized and unorganized sectors.
