Inauguration of the CBCT Centre, Renovated Postgraduate Unit of the Department of Periodontology, Department of Implantology and the Mobile Dental Van at Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital (TMDCH)

Er. A. C. S. Arunkumar, Honorable President, and A. Ravikumar, Honorable Secretary, the Inauguration of the CBCT Centre (1st Floor), Renovated Postgraduate Unit of the Department of Periodontology (2nd Floor), Department of Implantology (1st Floor), and the Mobile Dental Van was held on 9 March 2026 at 11:30 AM at Thai Moogambigai Dental College & Hospital, a constituent unit of Dr. M. G. R. Educational & Research Institute.

The occasion was graced by distinguished dignitaries including S. Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor, and C. B. Palanivelu, Registrar. The event was attended by Ponsekar Abraham (Principal), Uma Sudhakar (Additional Principal and Head of the Department of Periodontology), M. K. Karthikeyan (Additional Principal and Head of the Department of Orthodontics), along with other Heads of Departments, Senior faculty members, and Administrative staff.

The newly inaugurated CBCT Centre will enhance three-dimensional diagnostic imaging capabilities, supporting precise diagnosis and treatment planning across multiple dental specialties, including oral and maxillofacial radiology, implantology, and orthodontics.
