Complementing this initiative, the Innovation and Startup Promotion Cell (ISPC) at Dr. M.G.R. ERI serves as a catalyst for early-stage innovation and startup growth. Functioning as a non-profit entity, ISPC runs a range of structured programs in pre-incubation, incubation, and acceleration, with a focus on high-impact sectors like Defense, Electric Mobility, Healthcare, and Deep Technology.

Together, CIED and ISPC empower aspiring entrepreneurs, guiding them through every phase of the startup lifecycle — from idea validation to market launch — and contribute to the vision of a self-reliant and innovation-driven India.

Pre-Incubation Workspace

Dedicated desk and office space is offered to early-stage startups for business execution and operations. Currently, five startups actively use this facility, benefitting from an entrepreneurial environment supported by our incubation team.

Domain-Specific Zones

AI & Application Development Bay A specialized section equipped for startups focusing on artificial intelligence and application/software development. The zone supports two AI-driven startups with a dedicated workspace and necessary digital infrastructure.

BETF (Benz-Emerge Technology Foundation) An advanced co-working space is provided to five mature startups. This area supports market-ready ventures that require a more advanced operational setup with access to specialized labs and industry interface
