Infrastructure
The ultimate purpose of the professional course is to produce skilled students who meet industry standards. As a result, our department has eleven well equipped labs specifically for Electronic circuits and devices, Digital systems, Microprocessor & Microcontrollers, Linear and Digital Integrated circuits, Communication systems, Digital simulation & Digital signal processing, VLSI & Embedded System design, Microwave & Optical Communication, Computer Networks and Internet of things. Highlights include the fact that each lab has been set up with industrial cooperation so that students can work there in real time. These labs’ primary objective is to give students the opportunity to complete projects connected to the industry and produce products.
Microwave and Optical Communication Lab
- Understanding the fundamentals of microwave and optical communication systems
- Studying propagation and transmission characteristics
- Achieving practical knowledge of components and measurement techniques
- Examining signal behavior at high frequencies and in optical media
Communication Networks Lab
- Hands-on experience with network configuration, protocols, and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to network simulation tools like Packet Tracer and NS2/NS3.
- Understanding of protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, and DNS through experiments.
- Developing skills in network security, monitoring, and performance analysis.
Centre of Excellence in Smart Agriculture
- Developing sensors that measure soil moisture temperature, humidity, nutrient levels and other environmental parameters.
- Designing smart irrigation systems
- Developing systems that utilize renewable energy sources
- Implementing technologies like GPS,GIS, LoRaWAN and NB-IoT for remote agricultural areas.
