Decennial Reunion – 2015 Batch
On 18th Aug 2022 FoMS organized an interesting and interactive Alumni Interaction Series 12 on “My Entrepreneur Journey” by Mr.M.Suriya Sai, Director, RK Industries Tamil Nadu Pvt Ltd. The Guest gave a broad idea about his own experience with his education, Journey to the business as a successful Entrepreneur. He gave many innovative ideas about the business capital, way of meeting the client’s requirements, ways to fulfil the customer needs etc. Overall, the session sounds beneficial for all the students.
On 29th November 2025, we organized the Decennial Reunion for the 2015 batch alumni. Our heartfelt appreciation to all the alumni who joined and made the event truly memorable. Your presence, enthusiasm, and shared moments turned our 10-year celebration into an unforgettable experience. Here’s to the bonds we’ve built, the memories we cherish, and the journeys that lie ahead. Expecting all the alumni presence in the upcoming event. We look forward to celebrating many more milestones together. Once again, thank you all for making this day more memorable.
Various informal interactions, discussions, and nostalgic moments highlighted the event. Participants shared their achievements and experiences, strengthening their bond with the institution and with each other. Overall, the reunion was a memorable and meaningful occasion, reinforcing the enduring connection between the alumni and their alma mater.
PENTA REUNION
Dr. M.G.R. Alumni Association has celebrated the 2nd Penta reunion of alumni for 2018 passed out students on 29th April 2023 from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm at the auditorium housed in the University Premises. More than 250 alumni from 21 different faculties of our university from across the globe were present during this reunion.
The reunion was presided by the Founder Chancellor of the University Dr. A.C.Shanmugam. The alumni were felicitated by the President of the University, Er. A.C.S.ArunKumar. Vice Chancellor of our University Dr. S.Geethalakshmi, delivered a special address. She greeted all the alumni and envisioned how to lead a professional life that leads to the betterment of society.
The event continued with the sharing of memories, and it was a perfect opportunity for the alumni to reflect on the time spent by them at the university.
SILVER JUBILEE 25TH YEAR CELEBRATION
On 30th July 2022, Dr. MGR Alumni Association (MAA) organized the 25th-year Reunion Celebration for the fourth batch (1991-1995) of MGR Engineering College. During the auspicious event, the alumni and former faculty were welcomed with a garland and registered their details. It was followed by a delicious breakfast arranged by the management.
The 95 batch alumni received and felicitated our President, Er. A.C.S. Arun Kumar. Afterwards, they visited the respective departments and recalled their old memories.
Following that, the crowd gathered at the conference hall. The occasion began with grieving for the absence of their companions. Our adored President Sir honoured the main coordinators of the ’95 batch responsible for the show’s prosperity.

We are happy to unveil the date for the 2017 Passed out Batch Reunion, it will be on 23rd April 2022 at 9:30 AM in University Conference Hall, Maduravoyal Campus. We invite the 2017 graduates from all destinations to join and to make the event a great success. We are sure all of us have missed our MGR days equally and termed it as our Golden Days. In these last 5 years, we have all created milestones on personal & Professional fronts. We strongly feel it’s time to reorganize the strength within our network, and there is a strong need for resources mapping & reach of ours. We are the best and will set & break many records and add several golden feathers to our caps. So, friends, let’s meet, share, and revive our network for shared benefits and start living in the family.
