ALUMNI INTERACTION SERIES – 19 ON “VOICES OF EXPERIENCE: LEADERSHIP NARRATIVES SHAPING FAIR WORK AND SUSTAINABLE GROWTH”
On 18th Feb 2026, FoMS organised “Alumni Interaction Series – 19 on “Voices of Experience: Leadership Narratives Shaping Fair Work and Sustainable Growth” by our alumni, Mr. Ivan Fernandez – Brand Manager, AINU Hospital, Chennai, and Ms. Sajiya Banu – Service Line Manager, Kauvery Hospital, Chennai. The session highlighted how leadership grounded in ethics, inclusivity, and long-term vision plays a pivotal role in building fair workplaces and driving sustainable growth. Through compelling personal narratives, the alumni speakers shared their professional journeys—discussing early challenges, defining career moments, leadership dilemmas, and the values that shaped their decision-making processes. The Interaction guided the students in career selection by exposing them to practical challenges, leadership dilemmas, and growth strategies shared by experienced alumni. At the same time, it also strengthens alumni engagement and fosters continued professional mentorship and networking opportunities. Overall, the session was an enlightening and motivating session
ALUMNI INTERACTION SERIES ON BLISSFUL GATHERINGS 13th NOV 2024
On 13th Nov 2024, FoMS conducted an Alumni Interaction Series – 16 on BLISSFUL GATHERING by our Alumni’s 1. Mr. S. Thiyagarajan, User experience & Research lead, Porter – Tech enabled logistics company 2. Mr.G. Kamesh, Senior Process Analyst, APL Shipping & Logistics Company 3.Ms. Sangeetha Umapathy, Senior Learning Specialist, Sitel 4. Mr.D. Balaji, Senior Quality Analyst, Med Export. Alumni shared their personal experiences, successes and lessons they learned for the next generation. Students received guidance to develop their networking skills and ways to track their career choice. Overall, the session was more informative, engaging and inspiring.

On 7th February 2024, FoMS organised a Alumni Interaction Series -15 on “Recent Industry Trends and Opportunities” by Mr. Vivek Ramakrishnan, Co- founder of Cake Machi (surprise planners). He delivered inspiring talk and shared his Professional journey, highlighted key milestones, career development and societal impact. Interactive Q&A sessions, professional advice, and guidance given by the speaker. Students acquired practical career insights, tips, and strategies for navigating the job market, building a successful career, and ideas to pursue one’s passions. Overall, the session was motivating for the students.

On 11th Sep 2025, FoMS conducted Alumni Interaction Series – 18 on “From Campus to Career: Leveraging Alumni Success Stories for Student Motivation” by our Alumni’s 1.Mr.Naveen,Fashion Model &Pageant Coach, Founder of Tamil Fashion Saga & Lavish Events 2.Ms.Pooja Sathish, Senior Executive-HR Department ,Meche Sture Mechatronics India Pvt. Ltd. Alumni’s shared their own personal experiences, their own success stories and lessons they have learned. Students received guidance to develop their skills and ways to track their career choice. ALUMNI INTERACTION SERIES- 14 ON SELF-MADE ENTREPRENEURS AND THEIR SUCCESS STORY 14TH SEP 2023
On 14th September 2023, FoMS organised an Alumni interaction series -14 on Self-made entrepreneur and their success story.
Our MBA alumni Ms.Divya Velankanni had given an extraordinary speech about her versatile experience in her entrepreneurial journey. She shared her own life experience in starting the business, how to run the business successfully, about the market shares and how to evolve as a successful entrepreneur.
Overall, the session seems more informative towards the welfare of the students.
ALUMNI INTERACTION SERIES- Technology Talk on 18TH August 2022
The Department of Management Studies conducted a Technology Talk on 18th August 2022 from 11.30 AM to 1:00 PM at Dr. M.G.R. University E&H campus. This was a department event. The topic of this event is Alumni Interaction Series 12: “My Entrepreneur Journey”. The Lecture was given by Mr. M SURIYA SAI, Director, RK Industries Tamil Nadu Pvt Ltd, RK7 Infinity Supply Chain Pvt Ltd, Chennai. Objective: To provide an opportunity for students to interact with young entrepreneurs and to make students aware of the career prospects in this area, the Alumni Interaction Series was started at exactly 11.30 AM with a welcome speech by 2nd-year MBA Student Ms. Mirtula Balaji. Then the speaker started his lecture to the participants on the topic. First of all, he started talking about his career, studies, and also, he clearly spoke about how he started doing his business at a young age. The speaker also shared the worst and best experiences that he faced during his initial business
