Academic Events (2022–2025)

AMRI has hosted and co-organized numerous national and international events, including:

  • ILLUMINATE 2023 – International Conference on Recent Updates in Research Methodology was held on 9th–10th August 2023 at ACS Medical College and Hospital, with 429 delegates (faculty and students) participating; the conference enhanced research competencies through expert sessions, 35 E-poster presentations and prize examinations

Dr MGRERI – Kursk Med Research Conclave, an International Seminar, was held on 28th August. The seminar featured Dr. Rajkumar Densingh Samuel Raj from Kursk State Medical University on “Recent Updates on the Pandemic of Osteoporosis,” along with a Zoom session by Dr. Lebedev A.U on Osteoarthritis. Around 30 research presentations from various faculties were showcased, promoting international collaboration, interdisciplinary research exchange, and interactive academic discussions.

    • MGR–KURSK Indo-Russian Round Table Meet on Bioethics, an International Virtual Meet, was organized on 20th September 2023 by ACS AMRI under Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute. The session featured discussions on Indian and Russian perspectives of bioethics, with insights from faculty of Kursk State Medical University, fostering international academic exchange and interactive dialogue among students and faculty.

University Science: A Look into the Future – An International Conference was co-hosted by ACS AMRI, under Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, in collaboration with Kursk State Medical University on February 8–9, 2024, marking the 89th anniversary of the Russian institution. The conference witnessed participation from various constituents of Dr. M.G.R. University of over 1,400 delegates, featured 60+ speakers across six parallel scientific sessions, and received 85 technical reports from Indian, strengthening international academic collaboration and interdisciplinary research exchange.

  • The Conference “ILLUMINATE 2024” was organized by ACS Advanced Medical Research Institute under the aegis of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute and sponsored by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) on October 22 – 23, 2024.

The conference witnessed the participation of over 200 delegates from various faculties of the University. The program comprised preconference workshops, distinguished keynote addresses, thematic scientific sessions and research presentations, serving as a dynamic platform for scholarly exchange, interdisciplinary engagement, and the advancement of research excellence.

    • ACS Advanced Medical Research Institute, successfully organized “REGEN MED CONCLAVE 2024” on 28.06.2024. The conclave focused on emerging advances in regenerative medicine and witnessed the participation of around 235 faculty members, students, and research scholars. The program featured expert lectures, interactive discussions, and academic deliberations by distinguished speakers. The event reflected the institution’s continued commitment to advancing research and innovation in medical sciences.

    ACS Advanced Medical Research Institute, under Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, organized an expert session on “Hallmarks of Cancer: The Next Generation and New Dimensions” on 22.09.2025. Dr. Sudhakar, Scientist C at ICMR–National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT), delivered an insightful lecture on emerging trends in cancer research. Over 200 students and faculty members participated, making the event a vibrant platform for academic interaction and scientific discussion.Hallmarks of cancer: The next generation and new dimensions (Sept 2025)

The 3rd National Annual Conference “ILLUMINATE 2025” on “AI in Healthcare Research” was successfully organized on 19th December 2025 by ACS Advanced Medical Research Institute, attracting over 800+ registrations. The conference focused on the evolving dimensions of Artificial Intelligence and fostered meaningful academic and interdisciplinary discussions with 3 parallel preconference sessions titled “Unlocking Learning: Gamification & Escape Rooms in Healthcare simulation Education”, “AI in Manuscript Writing” “and “CRISPR-Cas9: Genome Editing and Applications.”. The programme reflected the institution’s continued commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
