Application for Senior Research Fellow for ANRF-ECRG Project
Applications are invited from willing and eligible candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), purely on a temporary basis, to work at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Centre of Excellence for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, under the scheme Prime Minister’s Early Career Research Grant (ECRG) sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India, New Delhi.
Project Title:
Precise Mining of Type II Polyketide Synthases for the Discovery of Next-Generation Anti-infectives in Combating Antimicrobial Resistance (ANRF/ECRG/2025/002003/LS)
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences discipline
Desirable Qualification:
Sound knowledge in Microbiology, Molecular techniques, and Phytochemistry. Preference will be given to candidates with strong basic knowledge of Chemistry
Maximum Age:
28 years or below as on the date of application.
Monthly Fellowship:
₹42,000 + HRA as admissible as per Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute norms.
Duration of Project:
Three years.
