The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute successfully organized a Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Emerging Recent Trends in Biomedical Engineering” from 04.05.2026 to 08.05.2026.

The programme featured expert sessions on emerging topics such as cancer research, medical device regulations, AI-based biomedical devices, brain-computer interfaces, and future healthcare innovations. It provided a valuable platform for faculty, students, and researchers to explore recent advancements and research opportunities in biomedical engineering.
