ISR – Computer Skills Development

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a one-week ISR (Institutional Social Responsibility) programme titled “Computer Skills Development” for the students of FAITH HOME ORPHANAGE from 11.02.2026 to 17.02.2026.

 

The programme was inaugurated by the Head of the organization. The event was coordinated by Dr. M. Anand (Additional HoD/CSE) and Dr. B. Raja (Professor/CSE), with active involvement of III Year B.Tech CSE student trainers — A. Kumaraguru Malaiyan, G. Kavitha, R. Kanishkaa, and R. Kishore Kumar.

 

Over five days, the sessions covered:

  1. Fundamentals of computers and their practical applications

  2. Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and its real-world uses

  3. Interactive quizzes and written assessments to evaluate understanding

  4. Guidance on the importance of digital literacy for education and career development

The programme concluded with a valedictory function, during which outstanding participants were awarded prizes. The initiative was well received and proved to be highly beneficial for the students.

 

The Department extends its sincere gratitude to the Honourable President A. C. S. Arun Kumar, the Vice Chancellor, and the management for their continuous encouragement and support in successfully conducting this Institutional Social Responsibility programme.
