Internal Hackathon 2K25: Innovation Beyond Limits
The Department of Data Science at Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute organized the Internal Hackathon 2K25 in collaboration with AUDI to foster innovation and problem-solving skills among Data Science students. The event focused on real-world challenges in domains such as Healthcare, Edutech, Sustainability, Green Tech, Cybersecurity, and Open Innovation, where participants developed prototypes through hands-on implementation. Key activities included team-based ideation, coding sessions, model development, and project demonstrations, supported by guidance from industry alumni. Students enhanced their technical proficiency in Data Science, AI, and ML applications, while gaining exposure to industry perspectives. Outcomes emphasized improved collaboration, time management, and practical competency, aligning with academic goals for technological innovation and societal impact.
