The Data Science Department organized the inaugural ceremony of its Association for Universal Data & Intelligence (AUDI) to formally launch a structured platform for data-driven learning and collaboration. The event, held in the University Auditorium on 15 September 2025, commenced with an invocation, lighting of the Kuthuvilakku, and a cultural performance that set an engaging academic ambience. Senior administrators, including the Honourable Vice Chancellor and Rector, highlighted the growing significance of data science, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development goals in engineering education and societal transformation. The chief guest, Mr. George Koshi, emphasized industry expectations, emerging opportunities in data analytics, and the need for students to be proficient in tools and platforms relevant to large-scale data processing. The formal inauguration and logo reveal of AUDI, followed by badge distribution and an oath ceremony for office bearers, reinforced the Association’s commitment to promoting research orientation, ethical data practices, and continuous skill enhancement among students.
