Aicte Approved Face-To-Face Three-Day FDP On Universal Human Values – Introductory

The Department of Data Science, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, in association with the Association of Universal Data & Intelligence, successfully organized an AICTE-approved Face-to-Face Three-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV) – Introductory. The programme aimed to promote ethical living, social responsibility, and harmony in personal and professional life among faculty members.
Inauguration
The programme commenced with Tamizhthai Vazhthu and lighting of the Kuthu Vilakku.

Day 1 Highlights
Focused on foundational concepts of values, right understanding, and holistic living. Participants explored harmony within the self, relationships, and nature. Sessions emphasized self-verification, distinction between needs and wants, and sustainable happiness over temporary excitement.
Day 2 Highlights
Centered on harmony in the self, family, and society. Topics included natural acceptance, desire–thought–expectation alignment, right evaluation, and avoiding common relationship errors. The discussions reinforced value-based interactions and responsible social participation.
Day 3 Highlights
Emphasized application of value education, holistic development, and harmony in existence. The sessions highlighted the role of educators in fostering ethical governance, mutual trust, social responsibility, and ecological balance.

Participants shared reflections, followed by a group photo session.

The session also honored Yoga Master Mr. Paramasivam for his dedicated service in promoting health and well-being through daily fruit distribution for nearly two decades.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Dr. V. Ramesh Babu.
