VISTA OF TOMORROW: AI & DATA SCIENCE AWARENESS SESSION
The Department of Data Science successfully organized an AI & Data Science Awareness Session on 8th December 2025 as part of its Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) initiative titled “Vista of Tomorrow: Educate • Illustrate • Elevate.” Conducted at Chennai Corporation Higher Secondary School, Shenoy Nagar, this awareness program aimed to inspire 8th and 9th standard students by introducing them to Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, their real-world applications, career pathways, and future opportunities. The session featured interactive components including live demonstrations of AI concepts by senior undergraduate students, a creative poster-making activity focusing on AI in everyday life and future societal impact, and expert guidance on academic and skill development trajectories. Through hands-on demonstrations and interactive engagement, the program successfully nurtured curiosity among young learners and provided early exposure to transformative technologies, exemplifying the department’s commitment to community outreach and holistic educational impact beyond campus boundaries.

- Academic Pathway Guidance: Comprehensive discussion on educational qualifications, skill development requirements, and career prospects in AI-driven domains, equipping students with informed decision-making tools.
- Incentive-Based Participation: Recognition through prizes (scientific calculator, geometry kit, notebooks, and Rubik's cube) and participation certificates motivated active engagement and creative expression.
- Student-Led Initiative: Exemplified peer-to-peer learning through volunteer involvement of 12 undergraduate students from II and III year batches, demonstrating department commitment to mentorship and community building
