34th Convocation (Phase-I)
Dear Graduands,
We are glad to inform you that the 34th Convocation of Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute, University will be held in two phases, the first phase is scheduled on 06th October 2025 (Monday) at 02.00 pm in A.C.S. Convention Centre, A.C.S. Medical College and Hospital, Campus Velappanchavadi, Chennai – 600 077. Graduands of the following degree programmes will be participating in the convocation.
- Faculty of Medicine (ACS Medical)
- Faculty of Dental Surgery
- Faculty of Allied Health Science
- Faculty of Nursing
- Faculty of Physiotherapy
- Faculty of Pharmacy
- Faculty of Management Studies - MBA
- Faculty of Computer Applications - MCA
- Faculty of Online Programme
- Part Time Engineering programmes
- Ph.D. Graduands from Medicine, Dental Surgery, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, MBA, MCA
Instructions for Registration
All the Graduands are requested to visit our university website www.drmgrdu.ac.in. There is a link to our Alumni Network Portal Almaconnect (Click here). If you are a member of Almaconnect there is a provision to register for participating in this convocation.
If you are not a member of Almaconnect, first become a member and then proceed with the registration. Online registration is compulsory to participate in this convocation. The last date for online registration for first Phase convocation is 30.09.2025 at 5.00 p.m.
Instructions to be followed on the day of Convocation
- Graduands only belonging to the above programme need to report on the day.
- Graduands can start reporting at their department Registration counters from 10.00 am onwards and obtain their entry pass. After 01.00 pm issuing of entry pass will be closed.
- Graduands are instructed to occupy their allotted seat at the venue before 02.00 pm. Latecomers will not be permitted inside.
- Graduands are requested to bring ID proof or any other proof issued by Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute.
- Graduands should collect entry pass and food coupon at the respective department registration counters. They should occupy only the seats allotted to them during convocation (For accompanying persons separate seating is arranged. Maximum of 2 numbers of guests per graduands will be permitted).
- Graduands are requested to stand up when the procession enters the venue and remain in standing position till all the dignitaries on the stage are seated.
- Graduands should occupy their respective seats after receiving the degree certificates.
- Graduands should stand in their designated place during oath ceremony.
- Graduands are requested to remain in standing position in their places till the V.V.I.Ps and procession leave the convocation hall.
- Graduands are requested to keep the decorum of the convocation.
