34th Convocation (Phase-I)
Dear Graduands,
All the Graduands and Staff Members are hereby informed that the 34th Convocation – Phase1, which was scheduled on 31.12.2025 has been RE-SCHEDULED on the continuous request of majority of the Graduands of all the Faculties and in view of New Year Eve, is now being Re-Scheduled on 02.01.2026, Friday between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. in A.C.S. Medical College and Hospital, Campus Velappanchavadi, Chennai – 600 077.
We are happy to announce that Shri C.P. RADHAKRISHNAN Hon'ble Vice President of India has kindly confirmed to be THE CHIEF GUEST
The Graduands are requested to take a note of the “Re-Scheduled Date and Time” and make necessary arrangements accordingly. Since the Hon’ble Vice President of India is participating in the Convocation Ceremony all the Graduands are requested to follow strictly the prescribed protocol on that day and Graduands cooperation is highly appreciable.
The Graduands are informed that the previous registration done by them HOLDS GOOD AND VALID and no need for fresh registration for those who have already done.
The inconvenience caused in this regard is highly regretted.

Instructions for Registration
All Graduands are requested visit our Alumni Network Portal Almaconnect. If you are already a member of Almaconnect, you can register to participate in this convocation.
Please become a member first and then proceed with the registration. Online registration is compulsory to participate in this convocation. The last date for online registration for the Phase I convocation is 28.12.2025 at 05.00 p.m.
On the day of convocation (02-01-2026) all graduands should report to their concerned departments counters before 08.30 a.m.
Note : Graduants who had already registered based on the pervious communication are also requested to register again.
Instructions to be followed on the day of Convocation
- Graduands only belonging to the above faculty need to report on the day.
- Graduands can start reporting at their department Registration counters from 08:00 a.m. onwards and obtain their entry pass. After 09:30 a.m. entry pass will not be issued.
- Graduands are instructed to occupy their allotted seat at the venue before 09:30 a.m. Late comers will not be permitted inside.
- Graduands are requested to bring ID proof or any other proof issued by Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute.
- Graduands should collect entry pass and food coupon at the respective department registration counters. They should occupy only the allotted seats.
- For accompanying persons, a separate limited number of seatings are arranged. Accompanying persons seats will be filled on first come first serve basis. How ever the arrangements have been done to see the convocation through the LED walls outside the convocation centre.
- Graduands are requested to stand up when the procession enters the venue and remain in standing position till all the members are seated.
- Graduands should occupy their respective seats after receiving the degree certificates.
- Graduands should stand in their designated place during oath ceremony.
- Graduands are requested to remain in standing position in their places till the V.V.I.Ps and procession leave the convocation hall.
- Graduands are requested to keep the decorum of the convocation.
