The Data Science Department of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute organized Celebration Carnival 2026 on 17 and 18 June 2026 as an intra-department non-technical event for students. The programme was designed to provide a creative and engaging platform for students to demonstrate talent, teamwork, and innovative thinking beyond the classroom. The carnival included activities such as Meme Creation, Soap Carving, Multitasking, and Waste to Art, each encouraging imagination, artistic expression, coordination, and problem-solving skills. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Data Science students and created a lively atmosphere of healthy competition, collaboration, and shared learning. It also strengthened peer interaction and promoted a sense of belonging within the department. Conducted under the guidance of the department leadership and coordinated support team, the event reflected the department’s commitment to holistic student development through co-curricular engagement and experiential learning.
