Workshop on SPSS

We are delighted to share the report of Day 1 online Workshop on 'SPSS' which was organized by the Faculty of Education, Dr.M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute on 01.11.23 at 2:00 p.m. around 100 participants from zoom meet and 60 participants via YouTube. The session was hosted by Dr.A.Shyamala Devi, Assistant Professor, University of Madras.

I Year University Practical Examination June 23

Faculty of Education conducted the University Practical Examination for the first year B.Ed students on 06.06.2023. External Examiner Dr. A. Jeyantha Mary, Asst. Prof., Meston College of Education, Royapettah with a panel of faculty members conducted the exam.

Faculty Development Program on ‘Outcome Based Education’

Faculty of Education conducted the University Practical Examination for the second year B.Ed students on 03.05.2023. The External Examiner Dr.N.Prema, Head, SRM College of Education, Chennai with a panel of faculty members for the evaluation.

Faculty of Education conducted the University Practical Examination for the second year B.Ed. students on 11.05.2022. External Examiner Dr.V.Nalini, Associate Professor, School of Education, VISTAS (Vels University), Chennai – 600117, with a panel of faculty members were present for the evaluation.

Virtual Short Term Course

Faculty of Education feels elated to share the report of the short-term course on 'Curriculum Design Development' in collaboration with Meston College of Education, Chennai with 394 participants. The objective of the course is to inculcate knowledge on designing and structuring the curriculum towards development.

Faculty of Education feels happy in sharing the report of the workshop on 'Research Ethics and Management of Resources' held between 15. 12. 2021 and 17.12.2021 at 2:00 p.m. scheduled for 3 days in collaboration with Stella Matutina College of Education.

Workshop on SPSS

'Education is the passport to the future for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today' with this intension of educating today at this pandemic crisis a two day workshop on SPSS was organized on 14.05.2021 & 15.05.2021 from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. with a resource person of higher designation Dr.R.Ravanan, Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Chennai Region.

Professional Society Event – 'Citizenship Camp'

The first and second year B.Ed students attended ‘Citizenship Camp’ on 29th January, 2020. Mr.K.S.Suryanarayanan from Saint John Ambulance Service, explained on the principles and practices of First-Aid and also he gave a deep insight about different types of injuries and their managements. On 30.01.2020 the morning session was handled by Mr.M.Naresh Kumar from Evergreen Fire Service for Fire and Safety Measures, Chennai who explained about the fire extinguisher and demonstrated how to use it in case of emergency. Thus on the whole citizenship camp enabled to acquire knowledge about the life skills, as well as provided a service oriented mindset to those who need it most.
