Alumni Interaction 2024
Overview
The Department of Fashion Design, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, organized an Alumni Interaction on “My Successful Journey Towards Young Entrepreneur” on 14/11/2024 at the Phase II campus. The session was conducted by Ms. Subha, founder and director of The Crescent Designer Studio, Chennai, and an alumna from the B.Sc. Fashion Design Batch 2020-2023. The 1st-year and 2nd-year B.Sc. Fashion Design students attended the session and actively interacted with the speaker.
Outcome
Students gained valuable insights into entrepreneurship in the fashion industry through the real-life journey of an accomplished alumna. The session inspired students to pursue creative and business-oriented goals in their careers. Participants learned about the challenges and opportunities involved in starting and managing a fashion business. The interaction enhanced engagement with alumni, promoting mentorship and knowledge sharing.
