Each and every stage of construction is important to make sure that the structure being constructed will not experience damage under any general circumstance. It is very important to ensure good construction practices are followed at every stage of construction to prevent structural damage and failure of the structure.Civil Engineering Department of Dr. M.G.R. Educational And Research Institute University has conducted one day training program on 22/02/2020 to give awareness and training in concreting work mainly column concreting work, which is really needed by the construction industries. The local people were trained in this program. They were given practical training in levelling of column form work, mixing, and placing of concrete, so that they can face the construction industry with confidence.
