International Day of the Girl Child

Faculty of Education joyfully observed the International Day of the Girl Child on 11th October 2025. The event aimed to create awareness about the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among girl children and to inspire them to dream, learn, and lead with confidence. In alignment with the university’s commitment to education, empowerment, and equality, student-teachers visited nearby Government Schools to conduct interactive awareness sessions......

Teachers Day Celebration 2025

We are pleased to share a brief report on the Teacher’s Day Celebration held on 4th September 2025 at 11:00 a.m. The program commenced with a cordial welcome address, setting a warm tone for the event. This was followed by a felicitation address delivered by Dr. K. Geetha, Principal, Faculty of Education, who highlighted the unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment that educators bring to their noble profession. Her words served as a heartfelt tribute to the teaching community and a poignant reminder of the profound impact teachers have on shaping individuals and society at large.

Virtual Teacher's Day Celebration - 2020

The virtual Teacher's day celebration was well drafted on 09.05.2020(Saturday) at 10.00 AM with 197 participation. The celebration started with the invocation Thamizh Thai vazhthu followed by Welcome address. Next an interesting game Connections was organised for the participants to actively participate. It was absolutely fun filled followed by the game we had a speech about Teachers day celebration. With the same enthusiasm participants very well responded back again followed by the poetry recitation by our student and the lucky draw winners were announced by randomly choosing three of our participants and acknowledged them with a certificate. Also, all our participants were acknowledged with the Teachers day celebration gratitude card.
