The student affairs desk at Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute undertakes the activities related to students helping them to undergo a smooth processing of document related procedures.
The constitution of the Student Affairs desk is as follows and the members shall hold their office for a tenure of 2 years.

The functions of the committee shall be as follows.

  • Coordinating the dispersal of University Certificates, informing the Principal and the concerned authorities regarding the day to day concerns met by the students with regard to hostel, mess, transport, etc.
  • The students Affairs desk will provide necessary guidelines to students to obtain the No due certificate from the concerned authorities.
  • Compilation of No Due Certificates with all necessary annexures
  • Communicating with the University officials in obtaining the certificates of the students including Transfer Certificate, Course completion certificate and Migration certificate.
  • Maintenance of all records related to issue of certificates to students.
  • The Students Affairs desk also coordinates the scholarship processing for students offered by Government and Non- government source.
  • Announcement of suitable schemes available from time to time to help students avail scholarships provided by Government and Non- Government organizations
  • Recommending the Head of the institution to avail the Chairman’s Scholarships for meritorious students.
  • Maintenance of all documents related to scholarship.
