Department of Industrial Biotechnolgy

 

The Dept. of Biotechnology was started in May 2003 with the objective of strengthening the Institute's Educational and Research programs in Biological Sciences.

Biozone 2008 Life Science TechFest and National Conference on Current Perspectives and Challenges in Biotechnology was held on March 26-28th 2008, sponsored by CSIR and Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology.  Dr. Suman Govil, Advisor DBT, Govt. of India  - visited out Institute on this occasion.

Biozone 2009 Life Science TechFest and National Conference on Biotechnology in 9Agriculture, Environment and Healthcare was held on March 26-28th 2009, sponsored by CSIR and Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology.  Dr.Balasubramanian, former Director CCMB, inaugurated the Conference.
